Job Responsibilities:
Applying knowledge of design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
Produces conceptual plans, renderings, schedules, and documents.
Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client/contractor review and approval.
Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
Produces construction documents in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
Works in tandem with other team members to assist with multiple projects simultaneously.
Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project schedules and specifications.
Office Information, Compensation, and Benefits:
MVA is currently in office full time. Working from home is possible, but must be willing to work in office to review project responsibilities each week.
Compensation will be based on the qualifications of the applicant. Range: $45-$75K Full Time Equivalent (paid hourly).
Full time or part time position available.
Includes 6 Paid Holidays, Sick Time, and Vacation Time.

Recommended Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or similar field.
3+ years of architecture, engineering, construction experience or similar field.
Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
